Hi Team! If you haven't already, please take a look at some of the amazing Spring Family Programs that are coming up at the Ranch, and all of the different ways you can get involved if you can't commit to the entire weekend! Here's a taste of what's in store: April 24-26 Diabetes Family Weekend A new family retreat weekend geared towards Diabetes education, communication and information sharing forums, traditional camp activities and adventure-based programs. We are looking for lifeguards, high ropes staff, barn folks, and Family Pals to supplement our staff team! Saturday May 25th Barn (Horses and Small Animals): 9-12:00 and 1:30-4:45 Arts and Crafts: 9-12:00 and 1:30-4:45 Ropes Course: 9-12:00 and 1:30-4:45 May 1-3 Bravehearts Oncology Camp for Women Bravehearts is a retreat weekend for women who have survived various cancers. The spring program focuses around adventure-based programming and team-building. We are looking for: volunteer lifeguard, high ropes team, barn folks, and general volunteers to help facilitate programming! Saturday, May 2nd Arts and Crafts: 9-12 and 1:30 -3:30 May 8-9 Autism Family Weekend The 4th annual Autism Family Weekend is a chance for Double H to welcome families who have a child with autism. This weekend focuses on providing the camp experience for children who we are not able to host in our summer program. We are looking for lifeguards, high ropes staff, barn folks, and Family Pals to supplement our staff team! Saturday May 9th Barn (Horses and Small Animals): 10:30-12:00 and 1:15-4:45 Arts and Crafts: 8:45-12:00 and 1:15-4:45 May 15-17 Cindy's Comfort Camp Cindy's Comfort Camp is a program serves children that have had a parent or loved one diagnosed with cancer. The program is designed to give children a safe environment to express themselves while participating in adventure-based activities. We are looking for: volunteer lifeguards, high ropes team, barn folks, and general volunteers to help facilitate programming! Saturday May 16th Barn (Horses and Small Animals): 1:15-3:15 Arts and Crafts: 1:15-3:15 Open House (1-4pm) June 7th provides an opportunity for people from the community as well as campers to visit the Ranch. We are looking for tour guides and volunteers to assist with set-up and clean up.
